In 2015, James completed his MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Surrey. Shortly after, he joined SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. as a Sports Research Assistant, progressing to Senior Sports Research Executive in 2019.
James is a keen researcher and believes strongly in the work that he produces. Using research to impact positively on the sports industry and the community at large is one of the great joys of his job. The clients he works with are like minded in their beliefs on the power of sport and he enjoys cultivating these relationships to ensure the industry prospers long into the future.
James has always been passionate about sport. He is a particularly avid golfer and has played for 15 years, recently achieving his goal of obtaining a single figure handicap. If he isn’t honing his skills at the golf club, you will most likely find him at the gym, where he enjoys keeping fit and trying all sorts of physical challenges. He is (regrettably) a Millwall FC supporter, and enjoys watching golf and tennis if he’s not playing, and attends events when he can.
